Specialty Mortgages / MIC

This offering is ideal for those investors who wish to invest in steady, collateral backed investments in the GTA. In collaboration with some of Toronto’s most experienced, connected, creative and knowledgeable mortgage brokers, we offer clients lower risk, short term mortgages with excellent returns.

The investments can be individual or syndicated, first and second mortgages in residential and commercial properties in the GTA. Annual returns range from 8% to 14% on first and second mortgages, with a durations of 1 to 2 years. We seek those mortgages which have low ‘loan to value’ ratios to reduce potential risks and each offering is screened multiple times before it is offered to our clients.

Additionally, we offer an opportunity to diversify one’s mortgage investment via the Benson MIC to which we provide compliance services. The MIC offers the opportunity to exit or enter at any month in a fairly conservative, lower risk, mortgage portfolio of GTA based residential mortgages. The MIC pays investors an interest rate of 8.5% per annum with the possibility of profit sharing with the proceeds of the MIC at the end of each year. The MIC investment is both RRSP and TFSA eligible.
